Rojshawn Dontae aka Nappy Chef founder of The Nappy Chef started his career off outside of the Atlanta, Georgia area. At the tender age of 13, He realized his passion for cooking with a goal to provide good food that is cooked and made fresh with simple honest recipes that tastes extraordinary. At the age of 28 Rojshawn became the apprentice of a world class Chef by the name of John Makin which sparked his interest to take his cooking skills to another level.
Mid 2014 he started his own personal chef catering service from the ground up that provides southern gourmet at affordable prices. All of his meals are made from scratch and is a combination of Southern Gourmet and international cuisine. His style and techniques of cooking comes from a homemade background of his refound ancestors.
He fuse Italian techniques, with southern, sustainable ingredients (whenever possible) global flavors and memories of grandma's kitchen to offer you a home style twist of southern gourmet and fine cuisine.
He has cooked for Kirk Cameron, Keke Palmer, Lil Kim, Floyd Mayweather, Rakim, Nas, Peter Shue, Walt Aiken of the Miami Dolphins, Dr Scarborough, Jadakiss, Smack Dvd, Special Ed, Musan Muhammad formerly of the Carolina Panthers, Dj SnS, Mp3Waxx.com, Young Buck, Jack Thriller, Gucci Mane, Blac Youngsta and more.
